This graphically intense and fascinating site is a definite must-see for the discriminating Lecterphile.  Includes a 'hunt Hannibal" game, free goodies, Florence images, and lot's more!

A basic and informative site.  You'll be unimpressed by the old fashioned graphics, though the photos of historic locales are quite nice.  Offered in English and Italian.  


This information packed site offers a look at the Florence of today.  Very light on history, but this is balanced by quality and variety.  What they do have, and that's a lot, is covered in great depth.  Offered in English and Italian.

A low frills, but functional site offering information on all of Italy.  Weather, travel, hotels and site-seeing are well covered.

Italy in a Flash

This low tech (they don't mean that sort of Flash) but practical site offers tourist information, plus a traveler's forum, local news and current events.

Virtual Uffizi

Take a turn through the world famous Uffizi Gallery.  Though the goodies are many clicks beneath the surface, the trip is worth it.
